  • DR MICHAEL CLINCH

    Dr Clinch joined the practice as a partner in 2010, becoming senior partner in 2025. He has a special interest in Community Orthopaedics and teaching minor surgery skills at Ninewells Hospital. Dr Clinch enjoys golfing and fitness training out with work.

  • DR ALISON CLARKE

    MBChB, DRCOG, DFFP and MRCGP

    Dr Alison Clarke graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1999. She became a partner at Broughty Ferry Health Centre in 2011. Dr Clarke enjoys all aspects of general practice and takes a broad, patient-centred approach to care. Outside of work, she enjoys road cycling, hill walking and keeping fit.

  • DR CASSANDRA RITCHIE

    MBChB ,MRCGP, DRCOG and BSc

    Dr Cassandra Ritchie joined the practice in 2013 and is an experienced GP with a special interest in acute medicine and palliative care. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Ritchie is actively involved in teaching our 4th and 5th year medical students. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active by going to the gym and running.

  • DR JONATHAN KIRK

    BMSc, MBChB, and MRCGP.

    Dr Kirk became a partner with the practice in 2020 after previously working as a GP on the island of Orkney. He has interests in General Practice and is a proud member of The Broughty Ferry RNLI Crew. He is also a dedicated Munro Bagger.

  • DR FABLIHA HUSSAIN

    Dr Fabliha Hussain joined the practice as partner in 2023. Dr Hussain is an Undergraduate Trainer for the practice and plays an active role in medical education, teaching 4th and 5th year medical students and supporting their development in clinical practice.

  • DR SABIN SEBASTIAN

    Dr Sebastian joined the practice in 2026 as a career start Undergraduate from India and postgraduate from Dundee University. He is currently doing NHS Tayside career start GP post, integrating GP work at BFHC and medical undergraduate teaching at Dundee University. Part time doctor and full-time outdoor enthusiast

Practice Management

  • ALEXANDER BROWN

    Practice Manager

    Alex is responsible for the co-ordination and management of non-clinical aspects of the practice including strategic direction. Areas included are personnel, teambuilding, finance, health and safety, information management and dealing with complaints and feedback. Alex joined the practice in April 2025 and is a member of The Broughty Ferry RNLI.

  • VALERIE SHEPPARD

    Office Manager

    Valerie is responsible for the day to day operation of the practice. She is responsible for data and spreadsheet management. She is also responsible for the management of all IT systems and staff training. As deputy to the Practice Manager, Valerie is also party to strategic decision making and finance.

    RGN with PGDip Advanced Practice

    Erin is the Lead Practice Nurse and an Independent Prescriber, having joined the practice in 2021. Erin manages a range of acute and long-term conditions. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting patients to manage their health effectively.

  • JERRY RUFOLO

    Female

    RGN

    Jerry joined the practice in 2024 as a senior practice nurse. She has a wealth of experience in primary care and is an Independent Prescriber. Her clinical responsibilities include chronic disease management, cervical screening, health promotion, minor ailments and acute prescribing.

Healthcare Assistants

  • CLAIRE SOMMERVILLE-CLINCH

    Claire is a Healthcare Assistant who works closely with the nursing team to support patient care. She helps with routine health checks, blood test, and monitoring long term conditions. Claire is friendly, approachable, and committed to making patients feel at ease.
